The Worst thing I'hv ever noticed in Public Transport in New Delhi.

Today I left office very late cuz of the loads of work. I reached Sikanderpur Metro station(Gurgaon) & boarded very hugely crowded  Metro train for Central Secretariat on my way back to home from office. I hardly managed to find space to just stand. It was now the Saket Metro Stn. almost 10% of crowd deboarded here but this was not good enough to bring the situation comfortable. I noticed a senioe citizen couple boarding at Saket stn.(they were in their Mid 70s) in the same coach where I was. I guided them to a spacious place in the train where could at least stand quite comfortably. All the surrounding seats were occupied by the young people, I hoped some gentleman will offer them seats cuz they were required more than we did. Now it was Hauz Khas Metro Stn. The old man was tired enough and wanted to have a seat & asked a young man(26-27 Yrs old) to manage to make him sit besides. I hoped the gentleman will offer his seat to that senior citizen. Bt I was really shocked by his response, the gentleman asked him to roam & find if any senior citizen seat is vacant there. Very hardly I controlled myself. I was really very disheartened watching this ridiculous situation, my hopes completely died when I didn't see anyone coming forward to offer them seats. I was desperately looking for seat to I failed to manage. This was really disappointing for me. Do we have forgotten our ancient culture in fast metro life? We have gone far away from our social responsibilities. Shame on all those who were there in that coach watching this situation. I also feel very guilty that I couldn't help it. We(Indian Youth) really need to come forward & change our this type of conservative minds to keep alive our thousands of years old history & Culture.
